Mite-Herold, 2019 (Stratford Girls Softball)

Big weekend ahead, good luck to all 3 Mite teams.  One team in each division, A, B and C.  Would look pretty cool on Sunday to see Flames GOLD in all 3!!!!!!!!

Busy weekend in Chatham for the little ladies...... Played 3 round robin games on Saturday, followed by another on Sunday morning.  Moved to the playoffs, won first game and continued on.  Our 4th game of the day, the bronze medal game vs the host team Chatham Golden Eagles.  Flames win on a walk-single, 9-8 victory!!!!!!!  Thanks to all parents and fellow coaches, what a wkd, 7 games and a bunch of fun off the diamond too!

Really chilly ball weather this morning, got some runs early, so the running around helped everyone stay warm.  Couldn't hold the lead, Mitchell now moves on to the playoffs.  Good luck to all 4 teams remaining. Pretty good first tournament for these girls, 1-2 in round robin play.  

Clinton scored 5 in every inning, Flames couldn't get anything going this morning.  5pm game has been cancelled.  

Fun couple hours at the park!  Lots of hitting (Julia and Myla with 2 hits each), lots of good pitching (Avree, Brooke, Abby), and good defense plays to hold Mitchell to only 7 runs.  Nice all around team effort, looking forward to Saturday morning!
