Squirt Soper Dominate In Game #1
Submitted By Terry Soper on Thursday, May 16, 2019
The Kiwanis Club of Stratford Squirt Soper baseball team Left Innerkip with a convincing 17-7 win in game #1 of the season

Great pitching, confidence at the plate and awesome defense contributed to a convincing win.
Riley Nethercott, Kenleigh Soper and Ella Gracey held Innerkip to just 5 hits while striking out 6 batters only allowing 7 runs on the mound.
At the plate Ella Boersma's patience got her on base with 3 walks then great base running help her score all 3 times!! Miley Demo, Josie Walker, Aveleen Flood, Olivia Rau & Skylar Fadelle were all perfect at the plate and combined to score 8 of the teams 17 runs.
McKenzie Parsons had a great game behind the plate keeping the Innerkip runners from stealing any bases by blocking & snagging any wild pitch thrown at her.

Next action for the Flames is Tuesday at home vs St.Mary's then Thursday in Shakespeare
